How can I keep squirrels out of our bird feeder suet?
We have a suet feeder for birds. We receive all kinds of birds wildlife, but the fat is expensive, and we kept up our deck squirells and in the feeder and eat all the fat. My father wants to shoot, or put them in one is-a-heart trap and leaves them a mile away. But I do not agree with any of these plans. Is there something natural you can do to repel the squirrels?
lol. For the amusement of my husband and I spray PAM feeders or put Vaseline on them a cheaper alternative. It only works for a bit, but can not get up the feeder and if they do they drop. Not only are out of food, but it's really fun to watch. I love birds (I have three of my own) and squirrels be annoying (although I seem cute – NOT the feeder).
