There are many different styles of bird feeders available that are easy to acquire materials and assembly. A simple design can be done with a plastic bottle 1 liter plastic container a small ¼ cup, hanger and a hook eye. For your basic tools that you need a drill, pliers, glue gun hot and a knife.
The first I have to do is cut a large hole in the top of the bottle cap by drilling several holes at the top and cut the rest out. Then glue the top upside down inside the top of the plastic container. Be sure to leave a ¼ inch the lid overhangs the plastic container. Also ensure that there is little empty space between the top and side of the container so the hummingbirds can reach the nectar.
Next simply a small hole in the bottom of the plastic bottle and screw the eye hook on the bottom. Do sure eye hook screwed in tight to prevent air leaks. You may have to use hot glue to strengthen the bond. Once you have the hook of the eye rather than use rope or wire to connect the hummingbird feeder that I want.
Making the nectar solution by adding a regular part of sugar white granulated to four parts water. The solution basically come to the sucrose concentration in most flower nectar. One liter of nectar solution typically takes about 7 days.
While crude and simple, this will make an excellent hummingbird feeder inexpensive. With a little decoration can seek to appease the eyes and be a great way to see the beauty of hummingbirds.
