Is it legal to shoot squirrels in his backyard in Texas?
The squirrels are a pest for us and I just want to know if you can legally shoot with a pellet gun (which makes no noise when shot). I live in a planned community, so you should consult with the homeowners association? I do not mind the birds, we have a bird feeder that the squirrels eat, so I'm not pulling any birds. I am a very good goal and just shoot them while at ground.is is legal in Texas? For those who think it's cruel to shoot squirrels and such: No plan to kill them! I just want enough to shock scare. My rottweiler has done his best, so I'm helping to scare!
It's probably not illegal, but I think that killing a squirrel with a gun Compressed air could be a little difficult. "4. What power can reliably kill a squirrel?" I'll tell you a little secret. "Squirrels are creatures too hard! A lot of hunters hit squirrels with lead bullets 40-grain .22 rifle from a long and still lose the game. Squirrels are very tough animals, especially when compared to similar size game, such as rats. A rat dies twice as easily as a squirrel in my experience. I would recommend a rifle caliber 22 shooting no less than 12 pounds-feet in their mouths. Personally, I prefer a 25 foot-pound .22 pellet rifle for squirrels. I like head shots well in comparison with body shots, and I stay within the range that I know I can hit fourth. One of my favorite hunting air rifle is a .22 caliber AirForce Talon SS firing pellets exact ACC .
