My children are 4 and 3, I'm looking for a simple and easy to build an aviary and the bird feeder or with them?

Make a bird feeder pineapple! My preschoolers love doing these and they can do with some help! Get a pineapple and a long rope to tie principle. Roll or spread vegetable shortening or lard (Crisco works well) in the cone. You can then roll in birdseed oats, cornmeal or uncooked (covered well). You can also use chopped up dried fruit, chopped nuts, seeds (sunflower seeds birds love!). Hanging from a tree outside and observe the birds are coming!
