Found 2 dead birds in the yard after putting new seeds of millet as feeders.Any recalls of dog and cat food?
Both birds appeared young, vigorous and not have any trauma as if they were attacked by cats, etc. found on the same day, the day after their feeders filled with seeds fresh, new Walmart. A bird feeder was just below the ground. I was worried of seeds could be from China, etc and also may have been contaminated like cat and dog food. Has anyone heard of death of birds from wild bird seed from Walmart or anywhere else?
Clean your feeder in a 4 to 1 solution of chlorine. The power supply probably has mold on it. Mixed with bird saliva becomes a toxic substance. Good luck.
