Can you help identify a wild bird at my feeders?
It is 6 1 / 2 ", the finch-like, with a hot tan above and pale brown below. Wing has a very distinct black and white, the bars, but not other brands. I've been through all pages of the East, the Peterson Rockies and the book is not there. It first appeared in 2 days ago, so I'm thinking it's a scale migration. ate sunflower seeds and thistle, and some songbird suet. Finch had a very sound as well. Any help (and links) would be great.
