Small nocturnal bird that likes sunflower seeds?
This animal is not a squirlel is a dark color, about 18 to 24 inches long and can climb to the lower branches of trees. It runs fast. You can shoot down a bird feeder hanging from the hook in the trees about 5 feet off the ground. The home is in central New Jersey farm.
This time of year a weasel would be dark instead of white in the winter months. Weasels look like a ferret.
