How to prevent grackles to overtake a bird feeder?
scare all the birds away, who are the bullies
There are bird feeders that leave out large birds such as blackbirds. Small birds in the boxes fit the "cage" and eat without interference. You eliminate other birds such as Blue Jays. Two feeders are not a bad idea. One off-guard and a platform Grackle or unattended fed.
