If you have an artistic mind and want to do something decorative and attractive for your home then clay pots are definitely a great idea to work. You can make different items or can also so some paintings in the clay pot so that the plant will look better. Also it might not realize the plant just because the pot is so attractive.
To make a painted clay pot you need 4A "clay pot, opaque apple green acrylic paint, the lagoon opaque blue acrylic paint, opaque yellow acrylic paint, semi opaque pumpkin acrylic paint, semi opaque white acrylic paint, fine tip marker permanent black.
Steps to make a clay pot painted:
1. First using a small ruler and pencil, it must measure the height of the clay pot that starts just below the rim. Then, mark the midpoint between the top and bottom of the clay pot. In total, you must measure and mark the midpoint in four places in the boat opposite.
2. Now holding the plastic tape measure to the clay pot, connect half points and then draw a pencil line of light halfway between all makes the point about the pot.
3. Align the rule with each of the points midway around the pot one at a time and draw a light pencil line from the top of the pot just below the rim to the bottom of the pot at this point. You will have 8 squares drawn on the boat.
4. Then you have to decide on the color scheme or arrangement of colors in squares which are based in the pot. In a series of squares where you can fill any combination of two colors and the other you also may submit an array of colors.
5. Place a small amount of acrylic paint on the pumpkin paper plate and take a small amount of paint on the straight edge of the brush and paint along the line straight from one of the seats with a generous layer of paint on the paper plate. Outline and fill one of the square completely with a generous layer of paint. Now paint the square diagonally pumpkin through it using the same method you did for the first and let the paint dry. Rinse and brush shape.
6. When this the paint dries, you can turn around the pot to another set of 4 seats. Place a small amount of yellow acrylic paint on paper plate. Outline and fill one of the squares with a generous layer of yellow paint. Paint the square diagonally yellow suing the same method you did for the first and then let dry painting.
7. When the paint on this side is drying, turn the pan around to the first set of 4 squares. Place a small amount of apple green acrylic paint and paint the square diagonally across it, using the same green method, as before. Again let paint dry and you can rinse the brush and the way again.
8. Again, while this paint dries turn around the pot to the second Set of 4 squares and apply a small amount of paint blue lagoon acrylic on paper plate. Outline Next and complete one of the squares with a generous layer of paint blue. Paint the square diagonally using the same method and let the paint dry.
9. When paint is dry to the last places he painted, is the time to paint the white edge of the pot. Squeeze a small amount of white acrylic paint on paper plate and paint the edges.
